Do you know “The Eight Day Cicada”? Have you ever seen “The Eight Day Cicada”? I saw the movie with my boyfriend on Monday. It was very interesting movie. I talk about this movie.

The first, the title was ‘ The Eight Day Cicada’ and it was made in Japan. The stars of the Eight Day Cicada are Mao Inoue, Hiromi Eisaku and Konomi Watanabe. The director of this movie is Iduru Narushima and the script is Satoko Okudera This movie was shown In Japan on April 29, 2011 and total income is about 1,200million yen.  Also, it is 147 minutes in a running time and won Japan Academy Prize. It was broadcasted as a drama from March 30, 2010 to May 4.

The second, a woman named Kiwako became pregnant with a child, but the child's father has another family. He asked her to abort the pregnancy, and she had an abortion, and then, she became sterile due to the abortion. Kiwako broke into his house and she kidnapped the baby who slept, and she escaped to the house of her friend. She named the baby Kaoru and brought up her endearing for 4 years. Meanwhile, she entered the doubtful religious group to hide herself, but she crossed island with kaoru when this group began to be noise by the media. At last the news photograph of the festival came out in the police and she put an end to fugitive life of four years. When Kaoru became 4 years old, she was restored real parents. However, Kaoru believed that Kiwako was her real mother, so she had a problem with her real family, but she knew that an adoptive parent was a kidnapper and grew up with shutting a heart. 17 years later, she became a university student and she fall in loved with the man who having the family. Also, she became pregnant. She was going to forget the fact of shock that tender mother who loved her was a kidnapper. However, in addition to the fact that she became pregnant an illicit child, she decided to visit the island brought up to four years old by an appearance of ex-old friend Chigusa. And, she visited a school and the temple and remembered an event with Kiwako. She also visited a photo studio and she found that a photograph with Kiwako who took it there 15 years ago was displayed so she asked the fisherman was at the port to a clue with the photograph Kiwako. ‘’Do you know this woman?” She showed the photograph and she said “please teach a thing at that time if you know it. When the person was separated with a child, what did the person say?” the fisherman replied “Do you not learn it? Even if the person was arrested, she worried about you”. She cried bitterly for he said and she made up her mind to have her child in the ferry of return. And, she said that this child have a right to watch the so clean sea, green and the blue sky. She arrived at the airport of Okayama and there was the woman who stared at her. It was Kiwako. When Kiwako looked a woman like her, Kiwako tended to look it. However Kiwako didn’t know her which grew up. When Kiwako cleaned on a table, there was the cast-off shell of the cicada on it and she noticed existence of her. Kiwako ran after her but she walked away. This movie ended at this point. If you watch this movie, what will you think of? What is true love? What is the motherhood? This movie is drawn about it.

The third, I watched this movie, I was very impressed. I didn’t interested it for the first time but while I watched, I gradually drawn it. Actually, Kiwako was hateful person but I have forgotten that Kaoru was not a true child while a story advanced. I thought that I felt these not true parent and child to be heart warming so the scene that she was arrested was very sad. I understand the feeling to want my baby to come home for the family that the baby was kidnapped as soon as possible. However, for the kidnapped baby, the one that was brought up without knowing the truth as it is might be happy. I did not want Kaoru to return to the true person because I also think that Kaoru was abele to spend happy life all the time. Also, the scene that Kaoru made up her mind to have her child was very good. This movie was gloomy and sad but I was able to feel strength fortitude and a hope of a woman. Thought this movie never has great development, and there is not shocking direction, I could watch it without getting tired because the fate that these parent and child followed was very interesting. In addition, it told me about love such as to have a child, to bring up a child so I thought that it is very important to have experience of in loving and being loved. Also, I thought that it was the movie which brought about various emotions such as the feelings of the woman who was not able to shower with affection in to the child who came back because she lost happiness to bring up a child, the feelings of the woman who was able to felt happiness to bring up a child while having the sorrow that she never disappeared. So, this movie was very good film. I was able to think about love and happiness. If you watch this movie, I want you to think about love. In addition, I was deeply moved that the life is fixed how the person was loved by the side of person and women have motherhood in their heart without becoming mothers. At the last, I want to bring up with much love when a child is born to me in the future. Thank you.
