My story (Rodney King riot in LA)

One day, I came across cruel accident in LA. The day, I was taking a trip to LA and I went to my friend house. My friend name is Mary. I was drinking a cup of tea with her. The TV was flicking news then. However, suddenly she turned pale blanched.

“What happened?” I asked.

“He is my friend.” She replied.

I didn’t understand her said. Just then, she rushed out of a room. I was very surprised but I had no time to think. I also rushed out of a room. And she and I reached a hospital. A man was lying in bed there. His name is Rodney King and she spoke to him.

“What happened? Please explain a thing minutely.” She said.

“I broke go over the speed limit, so I was arrested four officers of a white. However, they didn’t finish only arrested. They beat the criminal unconscious me.” He replied. Just then, I understood that Rodney King is Mary’s friend and he happen accident.

“I don’t believe you!”

She was unable to repress her indignation at such injustice. So, she and he brought a case into court. However, four officers were found innocent on April 29, 1992 because they calmed that Rodney King get drunk and fierce resistance so we didn’t press down with hands. And this calm was confessed. Immediately after the court, the incident flow out TV. The picture on TV screen was aroused a black anger. So, the popular started riot. It was over three days. She also took part in riot. The popular set fire to a supermarket, they stole many things from it. It happened to around an area in LA. There were 55 people dead and 200 injured. As a result, two of the officers Stacey Koon and a police sergeant Laurence Powell were prosecuted. Mary and King were very happy. After that he changed. He has not violated of traffic.

“Why don’t you violated of traffic?”  Mary asked.

“I am disgusted by such a thing.” He replied.

And both of them laughed.

Since then, he has studied hard to become a policeman. He have been sinking, I don’t want to happen such a thing again. And he was interview in a recent. He said. “I forgave the officers involved in 1991. I have been changed many times in life, everybody’s natural to change.” I thought, he will be a good policeman and he will lend a helping hand to solve the violence problem. After that, the trouble was settled amicably. And the popular thought that they never want to happen again that incident. As a result even a miner trouble has been taking up and they have been trying to defend “no violent people.”
